Olympic Town provides
entertainment and recreational fun for all athletes attending the Festival.
This area provides exciting games, arts & crafts, snacks, and special guest
appearances. The following is a tentative schedule of activities - more
will be added at a later date.

Workshops and Events:

"Healing Beat" - drum and
instrumental workshop. Healing beat is a fun and unique musical therapy
program that promotes quality of life through a five-party rhythmic protocol.

"John Cassidy Balloon
Artist" - famous, award-winning comedy magician and balloon sculptor who holds
the Guiness World Record for most balloon sculptures completed in one hour
(Sunday 9:00a-11:00a)

"Philadelphia Zoo on
Wheels" - the Zoo's traveling naturalists will bring five, live animals and
artifacts for a fun encounter with wildlife! (Saturday 10:30a - 12:30p)

"B101 Radio" - the B101
radio truck is bringing their official mascot, Buzzbee, for pictures and fun!
Balloon sculptures, games, music, and prizes will also be available at the truck
(Sunday 10:00a - Noon)

"Jukebox Kids Vocal
Performers" - Jukebox kids group ranging from 3-16 years old will perform a fun
sing mix of oldies, Broadway, country, and more! (Saturday 2:00p-3:00p)

"Penn Maid Dairy" - Come
see the Penn Maid Cow Queenie and sample free yogurt and cheese (Saturday
Noon-1:00p)

Come and fill out an evaluation and enter the raffle to win great prizes.
Villanova
Student Organizations have sponsored many of these booths and party favors will
be awarded to all participating athletes. This year's Olympic Town has
many great sponsors, so come relax between competitions and enjoy a variety of
exciting performances!

Special Olympics Pennsylvania provides year-round sports training
and competition for over 26,000 children and adults with
intellectual disabilities. The organization offers over 300 local events
and three major statewide event- Winter Games, Summer Games, and
the Fall Festival - in 23 sports with the opportunity for athletes
to advance to regional and international competition.
