Omani General Body Meeting (February 11, 2005)

1. Discussion about the Friday’s Prayer transportation; Hilal Alrahbi agreed to take the driving test, so he will be driving the car that will be given for the students going to the Islamic foundation. There is a possibility for other student to take the test also (Sauod, Salim,,,).
2. MSA meeting for the Omani students will be every two weeks on Friday. If everyone able to come every Friday, that will be perfect. The best thing is to keep in touch via emails among the group to discuss this issue.
3. Meeting talked about the Islamic Awareness week (14-17^th March). Samer will send email to the group to discuss the dates, time and locations for the meetings and for the presentation.
4. The main line dinner for the local MSAs on February 25^th. The group discussed the possibility to meet together in one place for the pick up to a ………. Restaurant. The cost for the dinner is 18 dollars. Mohammed will send email to the group later about this.
5. “Tsunami relief project” , to raise funds for those affected by Tsunami.
6. Name for the Newsletter.
7. Discussed some of the specific concerns with the group like place for the prayer, halal food, and driving test.
